Tell Congress: Reverse Unacceptable Medicare Reimbursement Cuts

Last week, CMS finalized a 3.37% cut to physician reimbursement for 2024. For two decades, Medicare providers have faced unsustainable reimbursement cuts.

In adjusting the new Medicare Economic Index to 4.6%, CMS acknowledged the inflationary pressures on medical practice costs. In fact, when adjusted for inflation, physician reimbursement has effectively declined 26% since 2001.

Members of the GI community, take a few minutes to tell your House Representative and Senator to avert these unacceptable cuts.
