Tell Congress: Support Patients and Providers by Reforming Medicare Physician Reimbursement

On November 1st, CMS issued final rules that, absent Congressional action, mean a damaging 2.8% cut to Medicare physician reimbursement for CY 2025.

For two decades, physicians have faced unsustainable reimbursement cuts, which are only exacerbated by rising medical practice expenses. This is the fifth year in a row that the conversion factor is facing a cut - this translates to a more than 10% decrease since 2020.

Members of the GI community, take a few minutes to tell your Members of Congress to support H.R. 10073, which would avert the latest round of unacceptable cuts and provide a positive adjustment in 2025 equal to one half of the Medicare Economic Index.
