Urge Your State Legislators to Review Recent BCBS Actions

Please join us in calling attention to the recent Massachusetts BlueCross BlueShield (BCBS) announcement that effective January 1, 2024, monitored anesthesia care (MAC) will be restricted and approved only for endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopies and upper endoscopies deemed "medically necessary." This policy will impact all practice settings and facilities across the state. Your state insurance commissioner needs to hear from your state representatives and senators.
