REMINDER: Tell your Elected Officials about the Lithuanian American Community's Priorities for 2025!

Dear Lithuanian American Community, 

 

With a new U.S. President, new Congress, and new leaders, we need to let them all know what we care about.  Remember, we are their constituents.  They work for us and are accountable to us. 

 

If you have not done so yet, please take a moment to review our JAVLB 2025 Priorities, and send letters to your elected officials.  Please personalize the letter.  We have tried to make this as easy and secure as possible for you. 

 

Please type your address in, check off selected officials, and send off letters today. 

 

The beauty of democracy is that every single person has a voice that matters.  We must use our voice though; we cannot be silent.  Please join me in speaking up and making sure that Lithuanian Americans are heard! 

 

Sending these letters is a great way to celebrate Lithuania's upcoming independence day.  

 

If you know the date of your local Lithuanian Independence Day celebration, please edit the letter, include specific info, and invite them to attend!  You can also prepare an up-to-date mailing list of your local elected officials, and keep this as reference to invite them to your community events all year long.  If you want an elected official to send you a congratulatory letter or proclamation, be reminded you may also have to go their individual respective websites, as many have special request forms for these.
