Join the Lymphatic Education & Research Network (LE&RN) to Advocate for the Inclusion of Lymphatic Diseases in the Peer Reviewed Medical Research Program

Right now, lymphatic diseases are NOT included in the Department of Defense's Peer-Reviewed Medical Research Program (PRMRP) for Fiscal Year 2025. Congress is finalizing the Fiscal Year 2025 appropriations bill, and the only way to get lymphatic diseases added is for Senators to hear from their constituents--you.

Why This Matters:

In 2023, advocates like you made history. Lymphatic diseases were included in PRMRP for the first time, resulting in $7 million in research grants for scientists working toward treatments and cures. In 2024, an additional $5 million was awarded.

PRMRP funding is open to researchers worldwide, so this fight impacts the entire global lymphatic community--not just the U.S.

The deadline to act is September 26. Let's unite to amplify our voices and fight for our community!

This is our first Advocacy Action Alert on the new Congress Plus platform--making advocacy easier than ever.

Simply complete your contact information and share your lymphatic disease story in the boxes provided below. The names of both Senators from your state will be automatically added to the final letters before they are sent.
