Take Action Now - Show your support for Southwest Airlines' Slot Application to Las Vegas!

Congress passed the FAA Reauthorization Act of 2024, which created five new slot pairs (or round-trip flights) at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) in Washington, D.C. Southwest Airlines has submitted an application for one of these slots to provide round-trip service from DCA to Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) in Las Vegas. Currently, Las Vegas has only one roundtrip flight connecting LAS to DCA.

You can support this effort by submitting a "public comment" to the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) so it approves our application for daily nonstop service between DCA and Las Vegas.

Other airlines are applying for these slots making the competition intense. Awarding Southwest one slot pair to and from Las Vegas would enhance competition, expand access, and decrease ticket prices, offering travelers more convenient and affordable travel options.

We have provided a pre-drafted a letter to streamline the process. You can also edit the letter or add more comments to personalize your story to DOT. Your comment will be made part of the public record to demonstrate the community-driven support for more travel options to and from Las Vegas!

Thank you for your support. We are grateful for your time and efforts!
