Repeal the current FACE Act

The Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act, enacted in 1994, is a federal law designed to protect access to reproductive health services by prohibiting the use of force, threat of force, or physical obstruction to injure, intimidate, or interfere with individuals obtaining or providing these services.

However, lately it seems like the Department of Justice (DOJ) is using the FACE Act as a political weapon -- imprisoning pro-life protestors praying outside of abortion clinics and indicting doctors uncovering unethical (and often illegal) medical procedures.

The misuse and intentional politicization of the FACE Act by the current DOJ has led us to call for the repeal of the FACE Act.

It is past time we stand against the weaponization of federal laws for political purposes.
