Twenty-six Head Start Centers Have Been Forced to Close - Congress Must Act Now to Prevent More Closures

Every day the shutdown continues, Ohio children and families are paying the price. Head Start isn't a political issue--it's a lifeline for working families. 

This shutdown is pulling the rug out from under working families. Parents are losing child care, teachers are losing paychecks, and children are losing the stable, nurturing environments that help them thrive. These are real people with real consequences--and Ohio's youngest citizens deserve better.
